REYNOLDSVILLE — Additional charges have been filed against a 48-year-old Jefferson County man who allegedly attempted to lure a teenage girl to have sex.
According to court records and the Reynoldsville Borough Police, Norman Thomas allegedly sent sexually explicit messages and pictures, and tried to solicit sex from someone he thought was a 15-year-old girl. Thomas was actually communicating with a decoy from the 814 Pred Hunters child protection group.
With the new charges filed against Thomas, he now faces 25 felony counts and five misdemeanors.
The Thomas case has been transferred to Jefferson County’s Court of Common Pleas.
