
LIMESTONE TWP. – A 74-year-old man was shot and killed in his home Sunday during an alleged altercation with a Jefferson County man.
State Police say Thomas Kemmer was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting, which is Kemmer’s home on Sandy Flat Road in Limestone Township, Clarion County.
Police report that 46-year-old Jeremy Dailey of Summerville entered the home early Sunday morning and shot Kemmer during a scuffle.
Homicide charges have been filed against Dailey as the investigation continues.
Dailey is currently behind bars at the Clarion County Jail without bond awaiting a preliminary hearing.
