Jefferson County man charged with indecent assault and corruption of minors

HENDERSON TWP – Felony indecent assault and corruption of minors charges have been filed against a 21-year-old Jefferson County man.

State Police say Simon Byler of Reynoldsville is accused of sexually assaulting three young girls on multiple occasions.

One of the victims reported that Byler began abusing her when she was just nine years old.

When Byler was interviewed by police, he reportedly admitted to inappropriately touching all three victims as many as 10 different times.

The preliminary hearing for Byler has not yet been scheduled.
