Jefferson County man accused of threatening roommate with butcher knife

PUNXSUTAWNEY – Two felony counts of aggravated assault charges have been filed against a 65-year-old Jefferson County man for allegedly attacking his roommate and threatening her with a butcher knife.

According to court records, Steven Seger of Punxsutawney is accused of shoving, grabbing, and shaking the victim, and pointing the knife at her while saying he was going to stab her.

Seger waived his preliminary hearing rights last week. He is currently free on $20,000 bail, awaiting a trial before Jefferson County Court.
