JEFFERSON COUNTY – A grant given to the Jefferson County Jail will allow them to enhance their video recording system.
Approximately $167,000 dollars was provided through the LSA grant, allowing the jail to update their recording system to have good documentation and promote safety within the facility.
In addition, the LSA grant awarded $817,000 dollars to replace the Snyder Hill Tower, enhancing radio communications for first responders.
