Pine Creek Twp. – Charges of terroristic threats and harassment were filed Tuesday against a Jefferson County Jail inmate after he allegedly threatened to kill the warden and “rape and kill” his family members.
State Police say 22-year-old Daniel Heitzenrater made the threats in June, and later confessed that he did so because he was “mad” at the warden and wanted to be released immediately.
When asked why he also threatened the warden’s wife and children, Heitzenrater responded, “I don’t know.”
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for December 20th.
