JEFFERSON COUNTY – The Burn Ban issued for Jefferson County has been lifted.
On November 12th the county issued a Burn Ban in hopes of mitigating outdoor wildfires.
The ban was issued because of the low humid, dry, and windy weather that could have turned a seemingly normal campfire into an uncontrollable fire.
