
INDIANA – An upcoming bridge replacement project in Jefferson County will result in at least a two-month detour.
According to PennDOT, work to replace the Cortez Bridge along the Anita-Knoxdale Road in McCalmont Township is scheduled to begin on June 10th. A detour is expected to be in place for 77 days. The detour will utilize Routes 3016, 2023, 310, and 2008 to direct you around the work zone. PennDOT officials say the project is estimated to be completed by the end of August.
… For the rest of this week, PennDOT crews have returned to a regular schedule of road maintenance work in both Clearfield and Elk Counties.
Projects in Clearfield County include drainage pipe replacement and cleaning along Route 255 in Sandy Township, and Salem Road in Brady Township; and pavement repairs on Routes 53 and 2037 in Cooper Township. There will also be shoulder work along various roads in Pike and Lawrence Townships in Clearfield County.
In Elk County, bridge cleaning and maintenance, and oil and chip treatment will continue on various roads in the St. Marys area.
