Jefferson County Bank Robbery Arrest

BIG RUN – A Big Run man is behind bars after allegedly robbing a bank Wednesday morning.

State Police were alerted to Marion Center Bank for a robbery at around 10:30 am. Witnesses say a man walked in with a red bandana covering his face demanding money from the teller.

The man allegedly stole $840 dollars from the bank.

Troopers were able to identify the man as 36 year-old Justin Hopkins, and was taken into custody later in the day.   

He is now housed in the Jefferson County Jail on robbery, theft, and terroristic threat charges.
