COOPER TWP – State Police in Clearfield County say they are investigating a possible case of child endangerment after a seven-month-old child was treated for severe injuries.

According to the police report, the infant boy was taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh last week with severe bruising on his chest and abdomen.

At this point, it is not known for sure how the boy was injured, but police say it was some type of blunt force trauma that occurred at a Cooper Township residence on April 4th.
