Infant seriously injured in I-80 rollover crash near Clarion

Clarion, PA – An infant from Allentown was seriously injured in a crash on Interstate 80 in Clarion.

It happened on Saturday, July 11 when a 47-year-old woman from Columbia, MD, was driving too fast for the wet road conditions on I-80, struck an embankment, and overturned her Honda CRV.

The vehicle also had a family from Allentown, PA, riding with the driver.

They were all wearing their seat belts or in a car seat, including a baby girl who was properly in a rear-facing car seat.

However, the infant had serious injuries from the accident and was taken to Clarion Hospital.

The rest of the family had just minor injuries and were also all taken to Clarion Hospital.
