Indiana County man charged with corruption of minors

A preliminary hearing is set for an Indiana County man charged with felony corruption of minors after he allegedly assaulted a 16-year-old girl in Reynoldsville Borough.

According to court documents, the hearing for Jason Edward Williams of Ernest is scheduled for Tuesday.

According to a criminal complaint, Reynoldsville police received the report of a sexual assault on a minor in January.

The victim told police that she was assaulted by Williams on at least two different occasions between December 15, 2021, and January 5, 2022, at her residence in Reynoldsville.

Online records confirm that Williams is a lifetime offender and was registered on Megan’s Law in 2013, after being convicted of rape in 2004.
