RIDGWAY – A woman incarcerated at the Jefferson County Jail is now facing more charges after she allegedly tried to get others to claim ownership of her property.
According to court documents, 57 year-old Kelly Wright, who was incarcerated after allegedly stealing over $150,000 dollars from her mother, is now being accused of forgery.
Police say that she allegedly made phone calls to get others to claim her property was theirs, which was frozen due to a temporary restraining order.
She is now facing felony forgery charges.
