UNDATED – A recent wave of scams has been plaguing Pennsylvania threatening police action.
According to the Pa Attorney General the scammer will call you with a spoofed phone number, making it look like an official government agency, demanding money or legal consequences.
Authorities want to remind you that they will never make these requests and to call your local police department if you get one of these calls.
