HYDE — A Hyde woman is facing aggravated assault charges after being accused of running her boyfriend over with her car.

According to Clearfield Regional Police, 43-year-old Gabrielle McCord got into an argument with the victim as the two were drinking at a club Thursday night.

McCord drove the man back to his residence, and as he was getting out of the car, she allegedly put the vehicle in reverse and trapped the victim under the door and dragged him across a gravel lot.

The man was treated at Penn Highlands Clearfield for five broken ribs, a partially collapsed lung, and a bruised liver.

McCord told police that her boyfriend had hit her three times before the incident with the car.

McCord is free after posting a $10,000 bail bond.

Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
