CLEARFIELD – A 38-year-old man facing drug charges in both Clearfield and Jefferson counties waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Friday.
According to court documents, John Jefferson II of Hyde was allegedly found to be in possession of large amounts of crystal meth, marijuana, ecstasy pills, and cash earlier this year. Charges against Jefferson in Clearfield County include three drug-related felonies and four misdemeanors. He also faces one felony and one misdemeanor charge in Jefferson County.
Bail for Jefferson has been set at $100,000 in Clearfield County, and $25,000 in Jefferson County while he awaits further court action.
