Horse and buggy strikes police car in Troutville

Troutville, PA – A horse and buggy ran into a state police car in Troutville last week, but no one was injured, including the horse.

A crash report shows that the horse and buggy had been going in the opposite direction of the police car just before 9 p.m. on July 25 on Main Street in Troutville.

Mailboxes startled the horse, causing it to panic and jump into the opposite lane.

The horse’s head hit the side of the state police car, causing some damage to the vehicle.

The horse was okay, and no one was injured in that crash.
