DUBOIS – Veterans and community members filled the DuBois VFW this Veterans Day, uniting to honor those who served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Heartfelt speeches and a stirring choir performance reminded those in attendance, including 2025s Member of the Year Joe Woods who served as a Corporal in the Marines of the meaning of Veterans Day.
“I’m grateful for the community I grew up in,“ explained Woods. “All these faces around here, with the people that I see and the ones I graduated with that are still around. There’s so much good in this community.”
Through this annual program, DuBois once again showed how they honor our local heroes.
