DuBois, PA – As a storm swept through the DuBois area yesterday afternoon, many homes and businesses were left without electricity.
The high winds, heavy rain, and even hail helped to knock down trees, some of which fell on power lines.
Although firefighters were called out for a couple of potential electrical fires, there was no serious damage to any of the homes.
Thank you to our firefighters, first responders, and road crews for helping to clean up the mess that this recent storm brought to DuBois.
As you’re driving, please take it slow, be patient if you see road crews moving fallen trees, and be on the lookout for tree branches or other debris in the roadway.
