Cooper Township, PA – A home was destroyed in a fire in Cooper Township, in east Clearfield County.

The two-alarm fire started around 3 p.m. Tuesday at a home along Kylertown Drifting Highway, also known as Route 53.

No people were at home during the fire, but it appears that two dogs and a one cat were killed.

The home is a complete loss and nothing inside was able to be saved.

The weather, especially the wind yesterday, made it difficult to fight the flames.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

No other details are available for the time being.
