DUBOIS – The Reitz Theater is kicking off their final 2024 production, High School Musical Jr, starting Today.
Based on the Disney film, the production follows the unlikely high school romance between a jock and brainiac as they audition for the school’s musical.
We heard from the play’s Director, Jacob Penvose, who tells us what you can expect.
“It’s really a story about shaking up the status quo and recognizing that you can get out of your own clique and do what you love. Whether that’s acting in the school musical, baking, or hip-hop is your passion,“ explained Penvose. “Just following your dreams and recognizing that as a passion of yours.”
The production has a total of nine shows with their premier set for tonight at 7pm. Tickets are $17, you can find a list of showings on our events page.
