DUBOIS – The federal case against former DuBois City Manager John “Herm” Suplizio and former city employee Roberta “Bobbie” Shaffer might be moving forward as a judge has denied the defense team’s latest extension request.

According to court documents, the defense team filed for their 6th extension in the case when a federal judge denied the motion.

Now, while we do not know the specifics of what is next, a telephone conference has been scheduled for Thursday morning.

The duo are accused of allegedly stealing around $1.5 million dollars between 2008 and 2022.
