Hay bale lit on fire in Clarion County

Perry Township, PA – Someone lit a hay bale on fire in Clarion County, but thankfully the owner was able to control the flames before it spread to the rest of the field.

A 40-year-old man from Parker, PA, says one of his round hay bales in a field along Lime Plant Road in Perry Township was set on fire on Nov. 9 around 8:30 p.m.

The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

The owner was able to douse the flames in time, but it still caused $85 of damage to the hay.
