Harrisburg man accused of attacking and robbing DuBois woman

DUBOIS – Charges have been filed against a Harrisburg man for allegedly attacking and robbing a DuBois woman.

DuBois City Police say 42-year-old Ryan Wells is accused of robbery, strangulation, simple assault, and harassment.

Wells reportedly showed up to the victim’s home on West Washington Avenue, began arguing with her, and demanded she give him her cell phone.

When she refused, Wells allegedly took her to the ground and grabbed her by the throat before he fled the scene.

Police have not been able to locate Wells.

He is described as a white male with brown hair and hazel eyes, approximately 6 foot 4 and 200 pounds.
