CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield man is behind bars after allegedly fleeing from police during a harassment call over the weekend.
On Saturday police were dispatched to Capircorn Drive for reports of harassment.
The caller told authorities that 41 year-old Edward Ogden was continuously going on their property and was not wanted there.
Upon arrival police noticed Ogden leaving the scene, where they then performed a traffic stop.
While confronting officers Ogden allegedly refused lawful orders from the police officers, then Ogden allegedly sped off attempting to flee the authorities.
During the pursuit, Ogden lost control of his vehicle and struck a guide rail.
Ogden was then taken into custody where police later discovered he was under the influence.
He is now housed at the Clearfield County Jail, facing charges for DUI and Fleeing and Eluding.
