Handgun fired into Ridgway building, causing $2,000 in damage

Johnsonburg, PA – Someone fired a handgun into a building in Elk County, causing more than $2,000 worth of damage.

The building at 399 Silver Creek Road in Ridgway had six rounds shot into it sometime between April 13 and 18 by an unknown person.

Bullets that were found on the scene are believed to be from a .45 handgun.

The shots damaged the front door, window moulding, drywall, a vanity in the bathroom, cabinet, vinyl siding, metal siding, and the carpet.

The building is owned by a 63-year-old Johnsonburg woman.
