Habitat for Humanity Shop for a Cause sale today and tomorrow

Clearfield, PA – Please join in at the Clearfield County Habitat for Humanity Shop for a Cause on April 2 and 3.

Be a shopper/Be a volunteer! Walmart Distribution is sponsoring Habitat for Humanity’s first ever SHOP FOR A CAUSE sale.

Walmart Distribution will be donating 10-12 trailers of merchandise for sale. Sale begins Friday, April 2, 2021. Location is Expo 1 Building at the Clearfield Fair Grounds.

Doors open at 8 a.m. and close at 4 p.m.

The sale will continue through until April 3 or until SOLD OUT!

All items are sold AS IS and all sales are FINAL. No returns. Cash and cards accepted.

We Must Follow CDC and Department of Health guidelines. Masks are mandatory, please practice social distancing, and we will limit the individuals in the building at once.

Come and Shop for a Cause and help raise funds for the next HFH build within our community!

Applicants are chosen based on whether the home being built would make sense for The family put in much more than the 500 required volunteer hours to build their house, called “sweat equity” hours, as part of the agreement for becoming the proud new homeowners.

It’s a common misconception that this is a free home for families… Habitat for Humanity calls it a hand up, not a hand out.

The family will still have a mortgage, although it’s interest-free, and the organization works to make sure it’s reasonable and affordable.
