Monroe Township, PA – A hotel in Clarion County was spray painted by guests staying there.

The manager of the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Monroe Township, just outside of Clarion, says two tenants were spending the night and left on Monday morning.

During their stay, the male tenant was seen spray painting the word “riot” onto a mail box post.

There are also four other locations inside the hotel building that he spray painted, two of those spots in the room where they spent the night.

State Police in Clarion do not give details on the couple’s identities, but they do say that both are now under investigation for criminal mischief.
