PUNXSUTAWNEY – Punxsutawney Phil made his annual weather prediction on one of the coldest Groundhog Days in recent memory, predicting six more weeks of winter.
This year, the furry soothsayer emerged from his burrow at around 7:26 am only to see his shadow, which means that we will not have an early Spring.
During the celebrations, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro told everyone in attendance that Phil is not going anywhere despite how PETA, an animal advocate group, wants to stop the annual tradition.
