BROCKWAY – Greentree Rail LLC has withdrawn their application for a municipal waste transfer facility in Snyder Township.
In a March 3rd letter, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection said that after review the company decided to discontinue the permit application and stop the technical review process.
We previously reported in October 2025 that hundreds of residents attended a DEP public hearing opposed to the trash transfer facility.
