CLEARFIELD – A Grampian man was sentenced to a year and-a-half of county jail time Friday after pleading guilty to misdemeanor child abuse charges.

According to court documents, 23-year-old Jordan Blake was originally facing felony child endangerment charges for allegedly injuring a two two-month-old baby.

The baby required medical attention at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh for multiple bruises and a broken rib in February 2022.

The baby’s mother and other family members reportedly told investigators that Blake was often rough with the child, and they had to tell him to be gentler.

Blake’s sentence also includes three years’ probation, a mental health assessment, and anger management counseling.
