BROOKVILLE – Next month is reenrollment for Medicare, a time where many get an onslaught of messages, mail, and phone calls about the confusing enrollment process.
If you or someone you know is over the age of 65 you will be getting an overwhelming number of messages concerning enrolling for Medicare with what seems like hundreds of different options.
To ensure you get the best quality plans, Molly McNutt with the Jefferson County Area Agency of Aging says that you should consider using local agencies to help you sift through all the information and pick a plan that works for you.
“They’re the ones that you can make an appointment face-to-face with and have your questions answered, and feel confident that you’re getting the right information for your situation,“ explained McNutt.
Medicare open enrollment lasts from October 15th through December 7th.
