UNDATED – Tri-County area gas prices are slowly going down from last week’s high.
According to Triple-A, Clearfield County is seeing an average of $3.69 per gallon, dropping six cents.
Jefferson County’s gas price dropped five cents to an average of $3.65.
Elk County however, is staying around the same at $3.77 per gallon, up two cents from last week.
Currently the western half of the commonwealth is seeing a higher average compared to the rest of the state.
The state’s average is $3.55 per gallon, which is higher than the national average of $3.38.
