UNDATED – Tri-County area gas prices continue to trend higher than the statewide average.
During the past week, the average per gallon price of gas in Clearfield and Elk counties was reported to be $3.75.
Jefferson County’s average price was $3.70, according to the Triple-A Gas Price Report.
The average price of gas across Pennsylvania rose three cents last week.
Results of GasBuddy’s survey show the average per gallon price statewide at $3.59.
More than 5,200 gas stations are surveyed by GasBuddy to determine the average.
