Free Medical Clinic of DuBois receives $63,500 from Mengle Foundation

DuBois, PA – The Free Medical Clinic in DuBois recently received $63,500 from the Glenn & Ruth Mengle Foundation, which will help the clinic continue to provide free care and medications to local people who don’t have insurance.

They want to say thank you to the Mengle Foundation and to everyone who has donated money, items, services, or time to the clinic.

Remember, they are open today for Wellness Wednesdays, with free blood pressure and glucose screenings, even if you don’t qualify for their other services.

The clinic will be closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the Christmas holiday.

Dolly McClusky, the executive director of the Free Medical Clinic of DuBois, and Lori Corcoran, the president of the clinic’s board, give a heartfelt thank you to the Mengle Foundation and other donors. They also explain some of the services the Free Medical Clinic of DuBois offers.

The Free Medical Clinic of DuBois is here to provide free medical care and medications to qualifying uninsured residents in Clearfield, Jefferson and Elk counties.
To receive services, meet three criteria:
1. Adult resident of Clearfield, Jefferson or Elk County.
2. No health insurance (no Medicare, Medicaid or private health insurance).
3. Household income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level: $38,640 – 1 person. $52,260 – 2 people. $65,880 – 3 people $79,500 – 4 people.
