Fourth Ward Hose Company camp in Penfield catches fire

Huston Township, PA – Police are investigating after a fire at a camp near Penfield, Clearfield County.

A passing motorist noticed that a building in the 1300 block of Hoovertown Road in Huston Township was on fire on Tuesday evening, and they called to report it to 911 operators.

It was a camp building, owned by the Fourth Ward Hose Company.

The fire caused an estimated $150,000 in damage.

Details are limited, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
