Four people in Clearfield caught with meth

Lawrence Township, PA – Four people in Clearfield were busted for methamphetamine, a dead parole ankle bracelet, and endangering the welfare of children.

Lawrence Township Police assisted Clearfield Probation on July 14 at a home on Rut Alley.

They found 35-year-old Amanda Price from Clearfield in a vehicle parked at the home, with a controlled substance in plain view. She was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of another controlled substance as well.

Police also made contact with 50-year-old Charles Gearhart from Clearfield, who had driven Price to the home. He was wearing a dead ankle bracelet from State Parole. He also was found to have a controlled substance.

Police then spoke with the residence owners, 34-year-old Michael Gearhart and 26-year-old Amber Dunsmore.

Michael Gearhart was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.

Officers got consent to search the home, and they found a large amount of methamphetamine, packaging material, and a scale.

Michael Gearhart and Amber Dunsmore were charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and endangering the welfare of children. Amanda Price and Charles Gearhart were charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

These cases are pending preliminary hearings.
