CLEARFIELD COUNTY – Chester Hawkins, a former Sheriff of Clearfield County, has announced his candidacy for the 2025 primary election.
Hawkins touts his common sense approach in services to the county in the past. In addition to the quality of his deputy staff, Hawkins is looking to build upon the goodwill between law enforcement and the public.
Since 2018, Hawkins has been acting as a part-time deputy for Sheriff Mike Churner, who has endorsed him for the upcoming election.
