CLEARFIELD – The lawsuit against the City of DuBois by former Police Chief Blane Clark went to court Friday, ultimately moving forward.
We previously reported that the former Police Chief filed a lawsuit against the city claiming that his due process was violated, whistleblower laws violated, and his contract breached when he was placed on administrative leave last year.
The defense had filed objections to the charges leading to Friday’s court appearance.
Now, while no official rulings have been made in the case, the judge said Friday that he needed more information on the policies and laws before making a concrete decision.
