CLEARFIELD – The legal battle between former DuBois Police Chief Blane Clark and the City of DuBois is moving forward with the next court hearing set in late October.

Set for October 28th at 1pm, the hearing will address preliminary objections filed by the defendants challenging the validity of Clark’s amended and second amended complaints.

This update follows an April 2025 court appearance, where the defense also raised objections and requested the case be dismissed. At that time, the judge declined to issue an immediate ruling, stating he needed more information before making a decision.
