CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Borough will be receiving $125,000 dollars to construct a flood protection project.
The current system has been experiencing blockages and sediment build-up over the years. The new project is said to heavily reduce the risks of flooding.
Funded through Act 13, the grant would allow the construction of a 3,000 foot flood protection project along Stinky Run.
