Fixing Potholes In DuBois

SHARE NOW

DUBOIS – With the snow finally going away drivers are noticing an abundance of potholes on the roadways, we hear the latest in road work efforts.

Public Works Superintendent Scott Farrell told us that due to the current colder weather the best city and state workers can do is put cold patches into the broken roadways.

“This winter has destroyed our roads,“ explained Farrell. “When we get weather like this, the cold patch, you try to put them in there, try to help out, it will not stay.”

Until the weather warms up and hot patches can be used, this band-aid solution is the best crews can do.
