DUBOIS – Five Catholic parishes in the DuBois area will soon become one.
According to a published report, the Catholic parishes in DuBois, Sykesville, Reynoldsville, and Falls Creek will merge to become the Holy Spirit Parish in December.
The Erie Diocese approved the merger plan, which was proposed by the five parishes.
Once the merger takes effect, St. Catherine Church of DuBois will be designated as the parish church.
