Firearms stolen from unoccupied residence in Jefferson County


Washington Township, PA – An unoccupied home was broken into and an unknown number of firearms were stolen in Jefferson County.

It was reported to State Police in DuBois last month, on Aug. 18, when 37-year-old John Gregori from DuBois told troopers that his unoccupied residence on Reitz Crossing Road in Washington Township (between Brockway and Brookville) had been broken into.

The man could not tell exactly how many firearms had been taken,

It’s unknown at the time if the thief also took anything else.
