UNDATED – Today marks the start of Pennsylvania’s firearms deer season.
According to the Pennsylvania Game Commission, over half a million hunters are expected to hit the woods for the winter season.
This year’s season runs through December 14th, taking a break on Sunday December 8th.
Most hunters are allotted one buck and on some occasions, one doe.
