Fire Engine Slides Off Road, Injures Two Firefighters

BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – Two firefighters have been released from the hospital after their fire truck crashed when responding to a house fire.

At around 7:15am Thursday morning, fire crews with the BJW Volunteer Fire Company were traveling to a reported house fire in Bradford Township when the fire engine slid off of the roadway striking a tree.

The driver, who was pinned by the steering wheel, and a passenger were taken to the hospital for their injuries and have since been released.
