WASHINGTON TWP. – A Monday morning fire destroyed a house in Clarion County which is owned by a 38-year-old Brookville man.
State Police say their Fire Marshal Department is investigating the cause of the blaze which broke out at the Birch Lane, Washington Township residence shortly after midnight, but wasn’t discovered until sometime later.
The amount of damage to the single-story house and property is reported to be $250,000.
