BROCKWAY – The Brockway Volunteer Hose Company and Horton Township Fire Department invite you to their 11th annual “Fill the Engine” Christmas food drive this weekend.
Running from 10am to 2pm this Sunday at Martino’s BiLo in Brockway, Fire Chief Mike Hoskavich tells us they want to make this year better than before.
“We started, we filled one engine the first year we did it,” explained Chief Hoskavich. “And last year we did three, so even in some years where, you know, everybody’s finances were a little low, food costs were sky high, the Brockway community still showed up to support their own, so it’s awesome. This year we’re striving to fill four engines “
Everything gathered will be handed out locally at St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry.
