Fentanyl Detection Dog Bill Passes House

UNDATED – A new piece of legislation that would certify police dogs to detect fentanyl has passed the House of Representatives.

House Bill 1344, introduced by State Representative Mike Armanini, is now going to the Senate for consideration after passing a unanimous vote in the House.

Armanini stated that he introduced this bill due to the increased presence of the deadly drug.
