Fatal shooting suspect still loose, armed and dangerous

Lawrence Township, PA – A West Decatur man is still on the loose, possibly armed and dangerous, after police say he shot and killed a woman near Clearfield yesterday.

36-year-old Anthony Boone allegedly shot the victim outside a home on Legion Road in Hyde, Lawrence Township, Clearfield County.

She was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police do not say what the motive might have been.

Witness reportedly saw Boone fleeing from the scene with a dog.

Police have been canvassing a wide area ever since, but they have still not been able to locate Boone.

Anthony Boone is a 36-year-old white man, 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black muscle tee, blue jeans, and a black hat.

If you see Boone, you should not approach him. Instead, immediately call 911. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Currently multiple police, fire, and EMS Units are responding to a shooting in Hyde in Clearfield County. We will have more updates when they become available.
The shooting occurred in 2100 Blk of Legion Road in Hyde. 1 victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The suspect is reportedly on the run either on foot or is in a vehicle. The last reported description is unknown but is believed to be in a line green colored station wagon. He is reported armed and dangerous, if you see this vehicle DO NOT APPROACH, immediately dial 911 to report a sighting. This is a very active scene unfolding so please STAY AWAY FROM THE AREA and let Law Enforcement and EMS work the scene. Updates will be forthcoming.
At the time it has been confirmed that the female victim has suffered fatal injuries due to the gunshot(s) wounds. They currently on the run and is armed and dangerous. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO APPROACH OR CONTACT THIS INDIVIDUAL. Multiple Police Agencies from Lawrence Township, Clearfield Boro, City of Dubois, Curwensville, West Decatur, Clearfield County Sherriff’s Office, and the Pennsylvania State Police are on scene and in the Clearfield/Hyde/West Decatur areas searching for the suspect. We as CCCFW have removed “Wayne Kelley” as the confirmed suspect as we are hearing from multiple people that Wayne is actually a 92 year old man who doesn’t drive and has assistance with walking. We are truly sorry to the family of Wayne for posting this report after what was said on the radio and hope that Wayne is in good health. Thank you and updates will be forthcoming.
Suspect has not been found at this time. They are continuing to search all areas. The suspect has been identified as 37-year-old Anthony Boone of West Decatur.
Mr. Boone is still at large and still considered armed and dangerous. As of now most of the neighborhoods and areas from West Decatur to Hyde to Clearfield to Curwensville to Glen Richey and there is no sign of Anthony Boone and they have been cleared. But, for the safety of your family and friends.. Please keep your doors and garages locked because he could be hiding out deep in the woods.
